The coldest night of the year. Rain is hail set as wind blows bringing instant chills. Standing alone where once was TWO. In total darkness as cold air escapes the once warm filled lungs next to the ever pumping of a once love filled heart. Finger tips numb to the touch excluding what could be a invisible soul to grasp. Overwhelming pain surging through an emotionless body. Blank face as if death took a loved one from the ever so tight grip of your arms interlocked with their body. Hard to believe a part of your heart is taken with no chance of return. With the last breath a clear sentence is spoken>>Memories fade in the coldest winter.....
